The Phillips Ag-Co story
Phillips Ag-Co is a startup farm built on generations of agricultural roots. Owner Chris Phillips grew up on this same land, learning firsthand what farming asks of a family. Following September 11, 2001, Chris joined the U.S. Army and served for four and a half years. After his military service, he built a career as a welder in the oil and gas industry.
Today, Chris is returning to the land with a new purpose: to raise his children with the same connection to farming that shaped him. Farming teaches hard work, planning, calculated risk, and resilience. Sometimes the rain does not come. Equipment breaks down when it is needed most. Any one of a million things can go wrong. Still, farmers get up, put on their boots, and work the land again.
Phillips Ag-Co is that dream taking root. We are starting small, planning to grow, and sharing our journey on social media in hopes of encouraging others who carry the same dream to pursue it.
